Engine Remakes

We all know that there is a lot that could be done for Knights and Merchants if we only had the source code. Unfortunately we haven't been that fortunate and the source code is still laying on some old CD somewhere out there, so eager fans of the game have taken up the task to recreate the engine themselves.

Listed above are remakes that look promising and that have released at least a bit of information about them. Currently there are two more promising remakes, with at least two additonal remakes that were so different or seemed outright dead which is why I decided against making a section for them here.
