well if krom states it is fixed in newer releases then maybe you might want to send an email to contact@kamremake.com to get the current beta version and see if it works there. if yes then all you need to do is wait a bit longer, play a bit sp or join one of the scarce beta lobbies (not many people play beta mp).

I suspect that you have mulfunctioning Sound driver, every time you get a WAV sound playing (troops taking orders, troop hunger warning).

Thanks for the tip, I´ve found the problem.

The problem/bug wasn´t my sound driver, it was the translation I used (swedish). It didn´t have any sounds connected to it so it produced a crash message instead.
I changed to english and it worked now, no crashes anymore.

The game doesn't crash when I use Swedish in r5503 and give soldiers orders, so I don't think that's right. A lot of other players would have also reported this bug by now. I found a crash report which I think is from you (Swedish language, crashed when playing a soldier voice). It shows you installed KaM Remake in your Steam folder. This is a bad idea because the files from the Steam version of KaM Historical Edition will conflict with the Remake files. This might have been what caused the crash. Can you try reinstalled KaM Remake in a different folder? (such as C:\KaM Remake) Thanks.

KaM Remake is installed in another folder too (I think I ran it from there the first time I started the game), and the same crash happened when I launched it from there. Does that version also use the files in my steam folder?
You´re probably right about the conflict but the game works now for me, so in my case only the swedish version is broken. Or was broken, I succefully managed to solve this problem by adding a speech.swe file (copied and renamed the english file) in the data/sfx folder (of my steam installation). No crashes so far, and I can give orders to the troops.

next time you encounter such problems you might want to verify the integrity of the game cache first, there might be a corrupted file in there or something.

I just found a bug with the "HouseTakeWaresFrom" Action. If you use this command to remove any kind of food from one of your Inn's, your Serfs still "think" that the Inn is filled with that kind of food. So they don't refill it. For example I deleted the 5 bread in my Inn and although I had bread in my Storehouse and a backery producing bread my Inn never got any bread. I had to delete the Inn and rebuild it to work properly again.

A bug on the stats (see next to the player's name "You") Seems the code for the function is displayed instead of the results.

I've only noticed it on this map, so perhaps it's something fishy with the script.
I used to spam this forum so much...

Looks a lot like a line of the libx file from the mission indeed, this mission is more than one year old (contest) and was done before the change which made possible to rename the player of the mission thanks to a certain libx line. I forgot to take this change into account (and I still think it should be optional and you should be able to chose which line it is :p)

Yeah, having fixed line for player names in the middle of the LIBX is clumsy (100-108 iirc). But having a separate setting to set the line numbers is not very handy either, because then every mission will HAVE to have either a dynamic script with the setting, or a whole new setting someplace else (now mapmaker will need to change 2 places to see AI names).

mission 2

Archers who stand in the middle of the map, all the time just pull the bow, do not shoot.
They shot only when I was away. But as I got closer it's wrong what I wrote above.
