Horrible lag in multiplayer

We both had 1.58 version, decent internet connecton, no pron download going on etc etc. All you need to play much faster RTSs through hamachi but the lagg with KaM was just horribe from the very beginning. The fps seemed to be something around 5.

Can it be played online at all? The Shattered Kingdom is sayd to have some less problems, does it lagg less too?

The hamachi server we used, if youre interested, is

Well known fault of Hamachi. It's slow.
BTW Multiplayer in TPR is too buggy to play (it desynchronizes).

Hamachi is ok, we played age of empires2 and many other real time strategies through it with reasonably little lag.

Do you think there could be less lag with TSK ?

Im actually very interested in having a proper KAM multiplayer community. And very surprised, that theres no "arrange a game" subforum here But I gess if the TSK still runs lagglessly only in LAN then it makes sense.

I bet TSK also lags with Hamachi. Even in LAN it runs noticeable slower than single player game (try it, on TSK you can launch it two times and connect to localhost )

2 instantses in 1 PC wont work for testings peed in LAN I believe. If I ran TSK in 2 computers in LAN, I didnt notice any lag. Only problemo is, that I dont know any players near my place.
Anyways enough of theory, Ill just try TSK out with someone too and will see.

EDIT: With gameranger (program, get it!) I had no lag with TSK nor TPR. So its totally possible. Yet with The Peasants Rebellion it went out of sync so people should get The Shattered Kingdom 1.32 to play online.
