"KaM Editor" WIP thread

I plan to make it alike Heroes of Might&Magic map editor with few controls for terrain editing from SimCity. At the moment tool is not capable of making maps from scratch for there are some unclear values.
Yesterday I've coded minimap to display terrain map correct. I started coding module responsible for loading trees/houses from KM resource files. I have certain problems with palletes and loading images both to KMEditor UI and OpenGL, but I hope to solve them and continue with other tasks.
I'll write more WIP info if you are interested in reading it

I'm open to your suggestions.
P.S. Do you know a way to run KM in a window ? Also, I forgot what was that key in KM-TSK to speed up time.
