Problems with TSK 16

Hello guys!

I'm newbie both in KaM and KaM Remake.

Me plus 3 my friend want to play against AI (co-op). We have played TSK 16 at r3392, but now, we install 5503 (that was downloaded from http://www.kamremake.com/) and TSK 16 doesn't work. It's only for 1 player, we can't select positions (http://c2n.me/iuWO6S).

Maybe, you can give me advices and links to other co-op maps for 3 or 4 players versus AI?

When want to create some maps (like A way to east) i get a warning - http://c2n.me/iuWJYD

Welcome to the forums

Try installing r5503 fresh in a different folder to where you had r3392. It looks like TSK 16 is still the old version from r3392, that explains why there are no selectable locations (something changed in the map format). I checked that TSK 16 is working fine in my version of r5503.

A Way to East might not be compatible with r5503, it might only be compatible with the upcoming version. I can look into your crash report if you send it and put a message with your forum name (so I can find your crash report quickly).

Well there aren´t many coop maps for 3 or 4 players up to now. Lakeland and A clash of Kings are quite funny to play (as far as I remember) for 3/4 players. A Way East should also work in 5503, but like Lewin said maybe some complications came out while overwriting the old files? This map has a small dynamic script, so it won´t work for 100% in r3392.

However Here we are back in the topic "Strange types of maps in the Remake":

Don´t look only in the "Coop maps" section in the Remake. Try to select "Special Maps": There are at least a few maps like "The Maze" (Like the best special coop mission in my opinion right now for 4 players) , "Castle Defenders" (4 Players VS Waves of AI Army), "Invasion"(Same thing), or "The Siege" (3 player map, you have to defend your city and the city of your ally against the Enemy (AI)

Sorry that I can´t give more exmplas for economy coop maps (you haven´t wrote if you want eco only maps), but most coop maps are for 2 players, as far as i know.

There are a lot of new maps, as pawel mentioned - not only simple coop But most of them will work only in new releases. Because they use new features, like new dynamic scripts or extra AIs.
You get an error on A Way East cause I used extra AIs there.

You can join beta testing of upcoming release - just write a PM to Lewin In the RC all new maps should work well

I didn't overwrite my old version. I've installed new one in different folder. So i have "clean" r5503.
But how can anyone play TSK16 at r5503, and i can't? :[

Yes, we want economy maps. Chose KaM Remake because of good economy side)

I only have one good map - Bridgecal Dundee, but we can't do anything versus this AI :_) Still trying.

I tried to load maps only from official or close to official sources, but, maybe, this one wasn't from them.
