Easy fixed. Download this file:
http://www.knightsandmerchants.net/file ... rntscr.zip
and run the REG file. It will install into your registry and screenshots should now work.

Or use the freeware tool called ScreenshotCaptor:

PRINTSCR.REG doesn't work properly by me although indicates all the four screenshot makers i tried - to create a grained and wrong-coloured picture instead of an empty black one. Buildings are still recognizable but nothing more.
I run KaM 1.58 UC (Hungarian) having a bit old NVidia GeForce 4 graphic card. Shall this latter thing cause my problem orif what else?

@Gyula: Yeah, did you try using PrintScreen and then pasting the image into paint?

@TGWH:
Thanks, faithful comrade. :D

@Litude:
Today I tested your suggested paint-procedure but only could make it on an ancestral computer because currently I'm only running Linux on my everyday machine. On my only Windows XP SP2 system the copy-from-screenshot-maker-to-clipboard-and-from-there-to-mspaint-method didn't changed the picture's quality. :( (Anyway, it's a miracle that this block of iron is capable of running SP2.)
Do you have any more ideas? :?
