1 man attack

Sometimes when you use a repeting attack the enemy will send a 1 man army after an attack, even if they don't have enough troops to attack yet. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I've seem this happen too, and I have a theory:
I think the AI gets itself into some weird state where it thinks that it is under threat. See, you kill the main attack, and the AI think that this means they are under attack, so they send more troops to "defend" themselves. As they don't have any troops left they send the one soldier that they just trained. He too is killed, and the AI registers this as a threat once again, and so sends another soldier, (they only had time to train one during the time that it took for the first to be killed) and so on.

The way to fix this might be to lower the defence radius of the AI defence positions, so they do not feel that it is their territory under attack. Also make sure that the AI start position is in their base somewhere, so they will defend around it and not somewhere else.
And make sure that they have some back line and some front line defence positions, not all the same type.

Let us know how it goes, I hope this helps.
Lewin.

I think that it are units that are grouped with another soldier. If that other soldier gets killed, the other unit knows that his team is attacked and so he will attack. In the meantime another unit is grouped before the soldier gets killed in the battle. And so on.

I have to agree with what merchant_992 said as if you kill the lonely soldier fast enough this will stop happening.

I personally think that it is both what Lewin and Merchant_992 might have something is to with it seeing as both of these fix the problem!
