I think if we send it to Peter Ohlmann he will tell us to contact ZuxxeZ, which will tell us to contact him again, then he tells us to contact ZuxxeZ again, and Peter again, and blah blah blah.

There are loads of reasons for not releasing source code anyway, from nasty comments to illegal code usage.

So does Zuxxez just have the rights on the source, but not the actual source? Then you need to ask zuxxez for permission for the source and then ask Joymania for the actual source. If Zuxxez doesn't have any source and no rights just ask Joymania, and put into your letter what zuxxez told us.

send a physical letter, send an e-mail, make a phone call. phone call is the hardest since any customer rep will push you off. its hard to work your way to the higher ups.

and yes, if it omes to it. flip the e-mail backj and forth between companies, keep adding what each other says each time they reply. so you get a makeshift convo between them with you as a mediator/messenger.

if you have too much more trouble, but find out for pretty sure who we need to contact, put it up on here and everyone start mailing them with as professional as you can type letters pleading for the release.

I don't know if it is useful to send the complete letters to the other companies. But just confront them with what the others say. Someone must have the rights.

Not really. I think Joymania would be best, but I don't think they will check their mailbox any more. (they no longer exist, do they?) There is a contact email address on their website, but I don't know whether they will still check it.

A second best would be Peter Ohlmann. I guess we could send it to the Coreplay contact address, but it seems kind of rude seeing as it has nothing to do with Coreplay.

What would you suggest?
Lewin.

Well, you could always try the Joymania e-mail, trying won't hurt. He did reply to some mails that were sent to it a year ago so it's still possible that he might read it if you give him enough time. In case that fails, the Coreplay e-mail address seems to be the only option.

Try both joymania e-mails. Kontakt and Jobs. They most react to the jobs mail addres I think, but don't know for sure. Don't know where the november 2006 and October 2007 mails have been sent from. TK probably knows the best options. If those e-mails are really dead we can always try Peter Ohlmann at Coreplay or Adam Sprys at his latest company.

I just sent the petition to the two Joymania addresses. I also sent a PM to The Knight asking him if he had any other addresses that I could use.

So we'll give it a week or so, and if there is no reply then I'll try sending it somewhere else.

Sorry that I didn't do this sooner, but I've been busy again.
