Unfortunatelly, we cant make real chess with scripts now. But we can have fun on this map. On this map you can train micro controle, it's very important there.
Well.
It'd be possible to reveal/cover the map for players to make it turn based. (nevermind... in my idea you can't even move troops yourself other than with builders/roads GUI, so that's not a problem

) But then, we probably need some sort of controls for moving the troops. I've got some idea but that'd be a bit complicated - you'd need to make 2 boards 8x8 full of builders (somewhere in the unused part of the map... you'd need more space on the map for that). If you placed a road 1st time, you'd choose which unit to move. If you placed a second one, you'd choose the destination. The script would kill off the unit and spawn it again on a new position (while also possibly killing off the enemy unit which was standing there).
(if we had sth like OnRoadPlanPlaced, it'd be muuuch easier

Thankfully it got added onto the list, so let's hope we'll soon be able to do that
