I must admit I've seen so called "professional" KaM players be rude and non-inclusive to less experienced players too. If you've organised a game and are waiting for another player that's fair enough, but you can just politely say "sorry we're waiting for a friend", there's no need to treat people like idiots because they are not as good at KaM as you are. Most situations can be resolved politely without offending anyone.
The majority of players are really nice but there are one or two who can be very unpleasant if they take a disliking to you for whatever reason. I'd say some people think they're important and take themselves too seriously.
Don't be put off by it, they're no more important than you are despite what they might think of themselves

I agree, some people are jerks who think they are so important, and also when those kids are kicked they often cry too.
infact there is this one jerk named Matt who always kicks people for NO reason ALL THE TIME, and I THINK he is a jerk , I mean WHY should I be kicked ,
Matt should not be able to kick anyone as host and he isn't allowed to play with who he wants.
Its whoever joins has the right to stay, even if that slot is reserved for one of his friends!!
About hosting. I think the role of host was made for these purpouses:
- To moderate a lobby:
1) To help players choose a match up (1v1,2v2,3v3,4v4)
2) To ask everyone about map and decide wich map and terms of playing is likely for all participants
3) To make equal teams
4) Techinical functions: setting peace time, etc
- To kick people in situations:
1) He/she behaves rude, using hard language
2) Doesnt want to change rude behaviour after player/players ask him/her for it
3) You asked someone to leave because you are waiting for friend/more skillfull player, but he/she isnt going to leave a lobby.
4) Person is afk for long time
- To prevent/solve conflict situations (wich is everyone's duty in my opinion)
So if you are the host your duty is to help, not to create everithing for yourself. If we are talking about beta-testing then you need to test first all the fitures coordinator asked you too, and then making fun for yourself.
I agree with most of what you said here
