That's probably due to resource counts display we added to MapEd in RC2. This bug has been fixed shortly after :)

Thanks for reporting and posting the image. That bug was fixed here:

It won't bother you in the 3rd RC and should only effect the map editor (if not let us know). The error keeps appearing after you click "continue playing" because the bug is in the rendering code, so every time the game tries to paint the screen it crashes. Render/painting bugs are annoying like that :P

EDIT: Oh damn. At first I thought that is a bug at AI single-map. However i have started look last replay from this forum and than this (So I think it isnt a bug, but only I have the problem, maybe installation failed):

That's not a bug, it's a debugging mode to show houses at a specific construction step. I have no idea how you activated it because it's supposed to be hidden. It's a slider on the F11 panel that changes all houses from zero to fully constructed. I'll make sure it's disabled as well as hidden so this kind of thing doesn't happen again.

Yes i know about the feature. However i cant deactivate it :D Hahah and i wanted to join the room fith Kirealarus and andreus, but i cant see them :-) Funny thing. i must install the full package the second time..


Ok i have install next time. However this bug?! Can you say me how i can deactivate it and why at my PC.
I think that isnt the normal "Construction set" thingi, because the windmill e.g. does not exist. ONly the flags AND windmillWHEEl. the same in inn. The food is there(and the flags) but no Building. Havent any problem in RC2 before.

However now i have started RC2 and there is the bug,too. So whats happened? Should I install Directx or sth. like that. However i think,if dx would be not good, the whole game wont be working.(I have "upgrade" my pc 2 days ago)
One other scary thing is, that all buildings are working fine on the last Official Release.
So i have installed 3 version(OfficialR/RC2/RC3), only in the official Release the houses works.

@Pawel: Try reinstalling to a different location. There could be some old files hanging around from the last version that are giving you trouble although that seems unlikely.
Also, is this the same computer you were using before? It's possible that your graphics card/drivers are too old to support the rendering techniques used on the houses. Please tell us the OpenGL version you have (it's shown up the top of the menu)

Found the Bug :-)

I have found the BUg. LIke i thought before, it is a Graphic problem.
It is not really your/the remakes error.
It is an indirect bug. However maybe this bug will come to a few users :-(

Haha no, not too old.
I tell you now:

I have the GPU HD 5770, a 1,5 year old graphic card, which is TOP for today(not every game High end,but ok).
So I thought that maybe my GPU is to "new" and so was it :D
It is a Problem with the AMD CCC-my HD5770-RC2/3.
I have downloaded the newest version of CCC 2 days ago. The newest version is "2012.0806.1213.19931".
I have delete the Autostart CCC from my Autostart Commands and it works very well :-)

However this is still a problem, because i cant close CCC only because of KAM and open it than+RESTART Pc and play other game.

The biggest reason for me, why it is a "indirect" Bug of Remake is, that there is no Problem with CCC and the newest AMD cards on the last official Release r3392. I have tested it and there the buildings were O.K. So maybe some script in RC2/RC3 or some graphicaly changes (Maybe in Houses) will produce this "Bug"

Only telling you now this, that you can maybe fix it easilier,because we all want a good Remake with help from the Forum :D
Sorry for the LOST game with Florek+Chicken. However it was not the biggest Problem, i have wood problem, so we Lost the problem.Thank you for all Tips and your try to help me, Lewin and others.

EDIT: Ok, now is everything Ok. I´ve found one solution: You can in CCC add Profiles for some games. And so i choose the lowest settings for the HD Anti Aliasing (Original settings in picture at the bottom) for Remake. However i not understand, why in R3392 everything was good,without editing. So if someone will ask after next release with such problem, he/she only must choose the setting "application decides" or very low AntiAliasing with manual settings.


P.s: This are my settings for High-end gaming(maybe helping sth.):

Thanks for the detailed information Pawel. Krom is the expert at rendering/OpenGL so he will be able to answer this much better than me.

As far as I know customising stuff in the CCC can lead to problems. It's generally safer to leave it on "let application decide". For example anti-aliasing is not necessary in KaM and just makes everything look blurry. But if you tell CCC to force anti-aliasing on then it will enable it anyway. I don't know whether it's common to also get rendering bugs due to customising these settings but it seems plausible since sometimes the application might rely on not using a certain rendering option.

I have a much older ATI card (Radeon HD 4650) but I can't get the same issues as you even after updating my CCC version (although mine doesn't have the same options visible as yours, I guess because your card is newer). If I enable anti-aliasing the game looks blurry, but I can't make the houses disappear like yours.

For now we'll advise people to use your solution if they encounter this problem.

No problem for the informations,like I said, we all try to make Remake a little bit better :D
But only an add: It is not "Antialiasing" it is the *new* Smoothvision: HD Anti-Aliasing (first in picture.) the normal AA works pretty well with RC2/RC3.

It is a crash. If you clicked send Krom and I will have received the crash report and can investigate why it happened and hopefully fix it. But I don't seem to have received the report so I guess you didn't send it?

EDIT: Someone else submitted a crash report which looks like it was from the same game. The error was that one player went out of sync. This is either a bug/flaw in the game/network code, or somebody tried to use a cheat engine, e.g. putting resources in their storehouse or something. If anybody from that game has any further information I'd be interested. Maybe there was some debugging feature you used or something else strange that happened during the game? It's hard for us to tell what might have gone wrong, if more than one person had submitted the report we could have compared game states between players to see what went out of sync and in what way. Please always submit reports and if it fails to send try sending it again (I think sometimes our server gets overloaded if everyone in the game tries to submit at once)
