Both? You mean all saves? Because as far as i saw all players had different versions of autosave.
No just saves from two player who are different (so host and somebody else). We just need to see which part of the save is different. In the lobby saves are only compared to the host so all joiners could have the same save, but they will all get an error if the host's save is different.
The problem with autosaves is that they're made every minutes, so one player could quit at 59 seconds and he will have a different save to those who quit a moment later.
It's better if someone clicks save (only one person) then you all quit.
I've successfully loaded multiplayer saves in the release candidate so i'm not convinced there's a bug with save consistency, if there is it's an uncommon one.
Of course all these issues will be solved with file transfer so the host sends everyone his version of the save, but that's a tough feature to implement.
