It was jomancool. He produced militia only (through entire game!!!), which gave me like +30min of peacetime because even if he attacked me, he was easily countered by Kasztan's bowmen and some small support army from TDL.
(It was very fortunate for me, because I made a silly mistake and had 0 gold before I made the metallurgist
so I had no army at pt, but thanks to my teammates I was able to catch up soon...)

I do this, but not quite as much in multiplayer. However, I do it all the time in singleplayer. When your town has 200+ serfs, you have no choice

Using soldiers, I've deliberately trapped wolves before. You could stage a little dog fight
I've never seen it like that though. That would drive me crazy! Unless the wolf moved right away?

Actually I had similar problem before when a wolf was sitting in a middle of the road near the storehouse... serfs were just standing there on both sides unable to move, thankfully after some time the little bastard escaped to the wild.

Shouldn't the wolf avoid human settlements?
