Hello!

Very good news! We want to announce that almost all teams played games in first round (with small exception, about that for moment). We want to thanks all participants for responsible approach - we are really proud to be a part of such great and supportive community as you. It's amazing that all games will be played - no one walkower even! In first round no one team was permanently eliminated from tournament - winners going ahead in main bracket and teams that defeat to their opponents still have chance to win tournament charging through loser bracket (it's looking better than it sounds :P).

I mentioned about small exception - we want to admonish (Death) Razor and (Death) Rex for recklessness treating your opponents. We agreed with your request for additional time, as well as Luki and Woloszek decided to give you chance after official deadline. Please don't waste this chance and play the game up to 17:00 CET today (Thursday).

The actual ladder looking so: Image

We want to announce beggining of second round! You have time to play best-of-1 matches (bo1) up to 18.06 23:59 CET - Monday.

We wish you all good luck and fun as well as have hope that you will keep your excellent approach!

I forgive you... Don't worry, but just promise me you won't do it again. :|

Well, if the account powah tour receives so many PM's then if there are repeated problems, you should have "replies ready", with the same information given before to another person.
If you reply always from zero... of course you will have [a) lot of time invested in that] and [b) bad mood].

Besides you can distribute the days during week to use the account, for instance Leewuige (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday), Mulberry (Thursday/Friday) and Florek (Saturday/Sunday).

My 2cents respect your problem.

We have decided to disqualify (Death) Razor and (Death) Rex. Their irresponsbile approach is unacceptable - when you making date with someone you have to appear in time, not disregard and lie to your opponents and organizators. We hope you will act more serious in future.

We actually working on replacement from them. It's possible last game in first round will be today played in normal rules.

Sorry for problems.

entertainment value: 1/5
originality value: 2/5
informative value: 2/5
teamwork value: 1/5

Map: Across the Desert
Peacetime: 60 mins.
Team 1: To (grey/loc 6) and fu (orange/loc 2)
Team 2: [R.A.]Mike (blue/loc 4) and [R.A.]Frans (yellow/loc 5)

To's gameplay:
+ 4 fast iron mines
+ fast iron smelting
+ extra woodcutters lategame
+ flanking with some horses
- 1st battle went bad
- fort was placed in the wrong location

fu's gameplay:
+ fast iron smelting
+ early iron weapon production

[R.A]Mike's gameplay:
+ traded coal for many leather vests
+ flanking with some horses
+ nice pressure on enemy base after 1st strike

[R.A]Frans' gameplay:
+ fast iron smelting
+ some extra woodcutters
+ more then enough towers
+ decent food production

Besides the battles this wasn't a very interesting game imo, key was that (mainly) Mike traded coal for vests so he had an extra group of lances on the field.

Are you really going to do reviews from all matches?
Thats a hell of work and not really necessary.
Save energies for semifinals and finals. :)

entertainment value: 3/5
originality value: 2/5
informative value: 4/5
teamwork value: 1/5

Map: Across the Desert
Peacetime: 60 mins.
Team 1: Czechboss (light blue/loc 5) and Krucipirdel (purple/loc 6)
Team 2: [R.A.]ImmortalFen (white/loc 4) and Kirelareus (dark blue/loc 2)

Czechboss' gameplay:
+ invested in extra woodcutters (9 total)
+ 6 farms running about 40 mins (8 total)
+ very good food production
+ horses
- leather production came a bit too late
- couldn't finish his defences
- lost horses to pikes too easy
- lost his 1st militia group needlessly running into xbows

Krucipirdel's gameplay:
+ also focused on extra wood early on
+ leather production
- was at first a bit behind in basebuilding compared to the other players
- bad luck/poor placement of troops

[R.A.]ImmortalFen's gameplay:
+ invested in some extra woodcutters
+ fastest leather production
+ decent food production
+ fast expension of the base
+ decent fighting

Kirelareus' gameplay:
+ additional storehouse for coal
+ set up 3 iron smelters before building armories
+ took advantage of the many wood available
+ overrun his enemy by clever fighting
+ horses
- no leather production
- food production came late

This was an entertaining game with a lot of action. Moreover, this game teaches some decent buildorders.

Btw, who said I'll review all games? this is the last from the 1st round. At first I wouldn't review our own game but some people asked for it. It think the replay function in the remake is a good thing and a replay with a review is even better so I'm planning some more to come but only if I think it's worth reviewing.

I agree with Luki. Reviews are another way to train.
(I have problems with watching replays btw)

To, thanks.
But, what does players need to do for "originality value: 5/5"? :D

I guess the game needs to be other than most games, players need to use different/unpopular tactics. By the way, what does "informative value" mean? Maybe you meant "educational value"?

I don't think there are any different tactics. Or if the are it's right way to lose.
But I can mistake.

team 3 vs team 4 is very borinng game and build orders failed as hell! Especialy ImmortalFen and Kruciprdel.

I think you should watch replays of games: Romek,Florek vs Boris, Mixons and The Dark Lord Beerzoeper vs `Maurice Yoven. VERY INTERESTING GAMES!

I should do review for extremely interesting game made by dutch players wich last 2hours35min. :D (<3 dutch) :$
