Fog of war

Is there a way we can have a different kind of fog of war?

One that grows back? when you have no units there ....

This is unlikely to appear in KaM Remake, since this is quite a serious change to the original.

Tef written a fog of war script. I used and tested it too at an 8p map, but the performance of the script slows down the game very much mainly after PT when million units are on the field. Should develop that script somehow which using the ticks less myabe?

Anyway some players says its a bad idea to add FoW to the game because most of the player can not play the game with vision either.
My opinion is the game will be a bit campier as it is in this release. The players would not leave their base, rather camping than take risks for a 2v1 situation.
Maybe more labourers and milities will be used as lantherns of the area. But maybe really would be harder to react the enemy army's moves in time so the games would be much shorter.

But you can try out those scripted maps too. Somewhere can find them on the forum. :wink:

I've made a small script which was map limited if I remember correctly... although it could be easily copied over to other maps. This was the result: http://imgur.com/MmNy8tZ

If you still want it, I'll search through my old desktop to see if I can find it somewhere.

Aaah oke.
sexy Video can you not make it not that black less black? Or less darkish? So you can still see the map but no units?
