Forum maintenance

Hi everyone,
Because of maintenance, the forum will be temporarily closed this afternoon.
The forum will be closed at
16.30 CET. We hope to be back online within the hour, 2 hours tops.
Also, during the maintenance, the shoutbox will be implemented we've been missing since the transfer!
Furthermore, we will be implementing some changes to prevent spam, since we've been having some lately.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we'll be back in no-time

Hi everyone,
The maintenance is done. You can all enjoy the shoutbox at the bottom of the index page, and new security features have been implemented.
Please keep us informed of any spam that may occur, since we have to monitor if the new features have any effect.

Sorry, I don't see no shoutbox in forums index page .. could you please check it and/or maybe give me a direct link to - I must have missed it altogether ..

Lol wow, it seems it's only visible for Admins at the moment :p

Should be fixed now.
Guests aren't allowed to view or use the shoutbox. Registered users are.

with the black layout of the forum,
once the shoutbox updates for me every 60 seconds.
it seems to screw up the layout by posting to much lines and posting trough my typebar which then jumps all over the place, its a real mess
.
any idea how i can resolve this ?
also the auto update time can i adjust that personally or is that only admin ?

The shoutbox has been disabled until further notice.
It seems the shoutbox is incompatible with the new phpBB version. I'll try to fix the issues myself, but it may take a while.

It seems most of the problems have been solved now, but I'm not enabling the shoutbox just yet. I want to be 100% sure before I enable it again.
I hope I'll be able to finish things tomorrow

The shoutbox should be fixed now. I've tested it quite a bit, and it seems to be working flawlessly in both themes now.
Enjoy, and if there are still problems, please report them to me.

Since the update we're still coming across some spam posts. Therefore, I've installed another anti-spam measure, that has to do with KaM
Here's an example of it, when a new user in registering:
Let's hope this will keep the spammers away
