Guys,

Who more wants to play multiplayer without using archers?

I prefer hand-to-hand combat with just axemen,militias,swordsmen,pikes,horses etc. because i think its more fun.

People who agree with me, let me know and send me an e-mail ( _Thom@live.nl ) or add me to steam ( Infidelius ) and well play together some time !

An army without archers is like soccer without a ball...

Though I really think archers should be a supporting unit, not a main unit...

But a good balance between fighters/bowmen or an entire army consisting of only bowmen is to much of difference.

Its just no fun playing multiplayer and only encounter huge armys of crossbowmen. Thats not what KAM is about in my opinion.

I still think we should be able to control our units even if they have already engaged the enemy... Could be a great buff to counter archers...

that would change the core of kam... what kam is...

i do understand that it can sometimes be kinda dull to always have archers vs archers and knights.
but imo you can work with melee just as well as most of which you just mentioned have the charge ability.
if your up against normal bowmen they will miss you more when your charging.
and well try to corner them or single the enemies archers out or try sandwiching them .

there are a numerous ways to use your fondness of Melee soldiers to your advantage.
it just takes some time to get a hang of these tactics.
im not that good with Melee's myself but if the situation presents itself il certainly try .

but changing this to pull troops out in middle of combat.. is a no go imo.
