Chat / Shoutbox

Hi all,

As (most of) you know, the old forum had a shoutbox near the bottom of the forum. Our new forum doesn't. It wasn't transferred (of course it wasn't), but I always thought it wasn't really used that much. However, I don't want the forum to get spammed with useless messages. So, that's why I'm starting this poll.

Should we have a shoutbox / chat again?

Please motivate your answer.

Motivation:

1) I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas soon, and a happy New Year, and I don't want to do so forumstyle. I like to do so chatstyle.
2) One's a stupid argument, so I have prepared a third argument:
3) I think it makes communication way faster. When Krom or Lewin posts an update on the KaM Remake, I don't always notice it directly. Back at the old forum, they posted a short update to. That worked so good, that I want it back.
4) I think it's just a great feature, and I cannot further explain why. I think it's a great feature. And I will repeat that all nightmare long.

I'd like to see it back if it's not hard to do. Some stuff just isn't worth making a topic for but you still want to say somewhere, e.g. "Merry Christmas", "I just made my 1000th post", "What do you think about <insert some international news item here>?"

I agree with Kridge and Lewin. Shoutbox is a nice addition.

I agree. I think the shoutbox will be implemented in the last week of January / first week of February, since I finally have the time then
