The original game has no rocks and only 40stones in the warehouse, but the enemy cannot attack your soldiers but you can kill them.

Maybe really stupid but I couldn't find a thread about it.

Yeah, this is just a bug in the campaign. You can fix this yourself with a mission editor or patch your game with SR2 or SR3 B7.
