Fishermans Hut

Ok. i was wondering how far does the fishermans hut has to be close to the river. Like in mission 5 for TSK for example there's a shallow river and deep river, can the fisherman do his job by catching fish in the shallow side of the river or does it have to be a deep river.

If you see moving fish in any river, it means that it's deep enough for the fisherman to catch fish from.
