Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion @ GOG.com

I'd post a site news about this (in fact I'll do it later) if it wasn't for the fact that I haven't bothered setting up the website after installing windows 7 on my computer.

Anyways, Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion has appeared on GOG.com. In case you haven't yet heard of it, it's a website that mainly focuses on providing older games for dirt cheap prices.

The page for the game is here and they're currently giving a discount selling it at only $4,20. It'll last for the weekend after which the price will bump up to $5.

Looks like the first preview pic was taken from some add-on mission.
I wonder if it's included along with stock campaigns

Is it just me, or is the price $5.99?

Edit:
Buying the game through Paypal $4.79
There's a $1.20 discount.

I'm definately buying it.
I already had TSK, soon TPR :D

You are NOT going to believe THIS...

It WORKS on Windows Vista Ultimate x64!!

It actually works on 64 bit!
The installer isn't the original one, but one from GOG..
Doesn't matter, KaM runs fine!

+1!

Edit:
I will be testing it tomorrow on Windows 7 x86 AND x64.
I'll post feedback here as soon as I'm done.

It works on XP x64 as well.. but:
That is no reason to list XP and Vista as compatible OS's. There exists problems, even though it mostly works (laggy graphics or the mysterious error for example)
The official TPR site only lists: Windows 95 / 98 / Me / 2000

It WORKS on Windows Vista Ultimate x64!!
It has always been working on Vista for me. (not x64 though) Perhaps there are different versions and that one works on Vista. Although I can't see why, because we all have the same EXE because of patches... Maybe it's to do with DLLs or DirectX versions or something?

That first screenshot of the forest is Kamyk's mission, Brothers! I wonder how it got there! They must have actually downloaded and played it, because I've never that shot before with the towers.
I doubt that it is included though.

This is great news, it seems like one of the only places that everyone can get KaM from.

That was my entire point: it works on x64.

As far as I know, TSK doesn't work on Vista/7 x64 (I tried)

At least the installer doesn't, it's 16bit. Doesn't TSK work if you install it manually?

Install it manually... how?

Double-clicking 'setup.exe' will have the same result as clicking 'install' in the autorun menu..

Copying over the files from another computer or using an application to extract the contents of the setup package will make it work.

The Peasants Rebellion has always worked on x64, but seeing as you said it was fully compatible with Vista, do you mean that the game doesn't lag if you use a resolution higher than 800x600?
