TSK & TPR?!?!?!

I have The Shattered Kingdom game, but after reading a lot on the internet (namely the AWESOME site of Real Hot Dog! ) and it seems to me that both games have the same missions?! However, I downloaded the demo of TPR and played a bit on the first level and its not the same as the TSK. Also, I can gather that there are new buildings, namely the Fishermans Hut, and a Town Hall?! Where you can create new fighters.

Someone clear this up for me please!!

Cheers

TPR includes both old TSK missions and new ones.

I prefer TSK, since it has required minimum of fighters.
I don't see a reason for those new units (like catapults or slingers) :)
Every other aspect feels pretty much the same.

I enjoy the Shattered Kingdom alot more, it is mostly because the enemy provides a challenge and the AI is smart. It isn't filled with glitches and such and also alot of things in the Peasents Rebellion need to be fixed badly, ex. cost of troops at town hall (in my opinion), fish being infinite since fish do mate and always have 10x the amount of the first time, enemy needs to stop making 1000 troops and then freezing game, and it wasn't as much fun, and I didn't feel as accomplished when I beat it. You like need to always try to win within the first hour or its hopeless.

Anyway mission 20 in the Shattered Kingdom is the hardest one ever compared to anything.

I have to agree with everyone here. The Shattered Kingdom IS better than The Peasants Rebellion. Somehow TPR doesn't feel nearly as good as TSK. It feels like all the new freatures were just put into the game without further thinking and the result isn't that enjoyable.

The TPR campaign is full of bugs, and so is the whole TPR engine. No official patches to fix the darn annyoing bugs never came from the official side to die-hard fans had to start creating patches for TPR. Of course, without the source code fixing all bugs would be close to impossible, which is why no additional unofficial patches are neither on the way.

Multiplayer is completely broken in TPR and the "smarter" AI has a lot of bugs which in fact result in a lot dumber AI and the fact that you can't play against humans doesn't help a bit. Luckily The Shattered Kingdom campaigns function almost normally and maybe even a bit better, except for two bugs, AI stops building their town and stone isn't brought to the storehouse (caused by new AI...).

Now I'm not trying to say that TPR is completely terrible (I must admit that it sounds like that), but TSK is still ways better than TPR is. Also Tony, IMO mission 20 in the TSK campaign wasn't that challenging. The though part in the mission was the fact that the enemies had tons of soldiers, but they didn't seem to be so agressive making it an easy mission.

you are right TPR is bad it is so glitchy and the multiplayer is screwed and the single player missions are dead to

if only someone will fix all the map glitches like some AL buildings arent there cause of the terrain and more glitchy stuff

The peasants rebellion...Although i havent played it, I did play the demo.. And let me say the F8 Button i think saves lives. The shattered kingdom killed me with the speed and plus TPR had new characters and much more GREAT!! features
