Hi.

I am working on a campaign called "The Dark Horizon" whcih should be about 30 missions long. I am about hafe way done... or I was. All the briefings and story lines were erased from my computer!!! I was quite upset. Anyway, I was wondering if I sould keep going. If no one plays it, then I will not comtinue.


So I am wondering, does anyone think I sould keep going?

I think you should keep going. And, who knows, maybe it will be included into KaM Remake or TKE as one of campaigns

Can you show us some screens or prologue text of it?

It's not uncommon that people download missions, but don't leave a comment. In fact, I think most of the people don't do that. I know that's not very encouraging, but if you already finished a lot of missions (quite fast, btw!), maybe it's worth to keep going. But only if you like to do it!

@Ben: Here is some feedback. I just checked the logs for my site, and since it was released (9th) 8 people have downloaded The Dark Horizon. So people do defiantly play missions without commenting.

Okay Ihave finnished mission 9. Missions 5, 10, and 11 are soon to be finnished. Missions 6, and 8 need some testing done. 3 is all messed up so I will need to work on it.

Why not. Its a fun campaign. I've played a couple missions from it.

Shoot! I lost mission 9!!! :x :x :x It was the best mission too! You see, I made mission9 but there were many bugs, so I changed it a lot, but I called it smission1 so I did not have to get to mission9. i forgot to save over mission9 and Iput a mission I downloaded as smission1 so it is gone :evil:

Ah, I've done that too! Don't forget to keep regular backups.

Sorry about that, I hope it won't take you too long to redo it.

I am very disheartened by the loss of mission9 so I dicided to edit mission8...good idea too. After making my best map ever (the one in the Christmas contest) my old maps look aweful (which they are XD) So I will be changing them.

Mission1 is going to need work on the map, and probably change the beginning attacks.

Mission2 has one of my worst maps...maybe becasue I made it in less then an hour at 2:00 in the morning?

Mission3 has troops acting "drunk" needs fixing. Beginning attacks work well though.

Mission4 is very chanenging and fun. It wroked almost perfectly on the first test. The map may need some editing though, but maybe not.

Mission5 The enemy soldiers were "drunk" so I jsut dicided to start this one over. It is almost done, the beginning attack is really hard, but fun.

Mission6 Could be one of my best, but needs a lot of work, I may jsut start over on defence posisitons. The enemy castle is so small that they can't get food out to feed their army with...

Mission7 Is working perfectly and that is very good. It is challenging, and timing is everything. My best battle mission.

Mission8 has alrady been talked about.

Mission9 has also been talked about.

Mission10 and Mission11 will be ttwo parts of a huge battle, which is turning out okay, but the map is horrid.

I have great plans for missions12-20 and it may jsut keep going. I may relase part one which is missions1-12 when they are done, so people can give feedback, but I kinda want to relase it all at once.
Some plans include things like crontrolling the enemy army insted of your for a battle you are supposed to lose might not happen though.

I lost the storyline, but re-wrote it. It is better, but it is only for mission1.

I may change the colors, but not the names of the characters.
