Hello,

Me and my friend wanted to try coop maps but cant seem to get it working...

We have both tried to create a local game but neither of us seems to be able to find and connect to it. Getting the error "Connection refused Error 10061".

The local IP the hosts gets is 127.0.0.1
port, 56789

Don't understand the "Room" settings with numeric value either..

Any help is appreciated!

IP 127.0.0.1 is localhost, a loopback. That address points to your own computer. So if your friend is entering that IP, he will end up on his own computer.
What you need (if you are on the same network) is your LAN ip.

Open up a command window and type 'ipconfig'. You'll see something like this, and the address in the red box is what you'll need.

Set the room number to 0, that should let you join. The room number is for dedicated servers which host multiple lobbies, but in this case there will only be one.

In hindsight we should make it automatically detect the room number in this case, but joining manually like this wasn't intended to be used by most users. Lobbies on your local network should show up at the top of the server list (assuming you have the latest version r6720), it scans the LAN for KaM Remake servers.

Yeah, it seems we tried to join each others game manually which was problematic but after some testing I realized that the server list didn't refresh automatically and the game we tried to join was indeed in the list.

Thanks for all input and support! :D
