Hi All,
Someone suggested sending ZuXXeZ and Joymania a petition asking them to release the source code.
Well, I thought this was a good idea so I made a page where you can enter your details and they will be recorded to be sent with the petition:
http://lewin.namsys.com.au/kam/petition.en.php
This is now official! Please sign it and ask all of your KaM friends to do the same.
Please help spread the word! Tell people on the other forums, so we can get as many people as possible to add their name.
After that we'll need to work out the letter, but lets worry about that when the time comes.

Lewin.

Hello Everybody, thanks for the resposes. I made the changes suggested by JBSnorro.
I am now unsure whether to use the website Krom suggested, or use the hand made page that I have created. What do you think?
As far as I can see that website doesn't seem to offer multiple language versions, which is a must have for this petition. (most of the people signing it won't be English)
Thanks for the fast translations, I have German, Dutch and Polish. (which is probably enough) I will create the pages once I've heard your opinion on whether to use my site or not.
Oh and I have received many test submitions from people so the saving process is working fine. (none of these submitions will be used, you'll still have to do it again once it becomes official)
Lewin.

Well, multiple language version is important (I can see people asking "What does it mean?"). You already made fully working petition page, so why don't use it?

True words!
I would also prefer your site, it's...hmm...how could I tell...more KaM like. In my opinion it's way better than a common page.

Hi,
Ok, my page it is! I've made some improvements and added all of the translations. I also added a main page that allows people to choose their language:
http://lewin.namsys.com.au/kam/petition.php
(still unofficial!)
If none one has any other suggestions then I will be officially launching this website in the next few days. (and removing the TEST ONLY labels)
Please check your language version for mistakes and report them if you find any.
I'm quite open to any suggestions, please speak up!
Let us hope we are successful.
Lewin.

Wait... we have the script, but what abuot the details of the petition? Content of the letter? Who'll get the source code?
For sure we'll need do write that it will be used only for making non-commercial patches (NOT releasing the game for free and NOT making any commercial fork).

If the source was to be released, I'm sure ZuXXeZ themselves would chose how to license it.
But hey great work on that site Lewin! Definitely better than petiotiononline.com (it looks so dull, besides your e-mail gets filled with spam if you enter it there...).

Dutch version:
onofficiele = onoffici?le
that list of countries is a bit unreadable due to the colour.
