How do I make a map bigger?

I have an already existing map and I want to make it bigger.
Is this possible?
if so, how?

EDIT:
I did manage to copy it with height and all, but that way I don't have the scripts, units and buildings.
Is there a way to enlarge an existing map?

You can go into the map folder and copy the "[mapname].dat" file to your newly enlarged map, but you may find that the units, buildings, etc. are not where you expect them to be. I can't remember for sure, but if you expanded your map beyond X0, Y0 then it simply won't work.

I have implemented map resize in Knights Province - it's quite easy (without dynamic scripts). I'll show this topic to Rey/Andreus, maybe they will be interetsed in implementing this feature in Remake too.

Yeah, I think I can do that. Good idea.

You can make the map bigger using copy/paste in the KaM Remake map editor. Copy your entire old map, then paste it into a new map.

@Lewin: c/p works well only for terrain. With proposed improvement, all static scripts (incl. town, units and else) will work too. Leaving only dynamic script for manual update.
