I created a fresh challenge for you guys to enhance your micro skill/overall gameplay even further. This time we will try to make as many crossbowmen in 60 minutes as possible. My first attempt got stuck on 117.

Here are some rules:

1. Post how many xbows you have reached (and make a screenshot) here. Save the replay for later.
2. Market (ab)use is allowed.
3. You may use resources that belong to the other locations if you want.
4. Your best result will be put on the leaderboard, don't be afraid to share lower than 1st results and show how you have done.
5. Other (AI) players are not allowed to help you with your build (tree planters, road makers, corn makers etc.)
6. Don't send me your account numbers, this will be a cashless competition. The winner receives the honour (and maybe a shoutcast)
7. Pick any location on Back in the Desert you like to play on, I did it on loc 5.
8. Saving during gameplay can't be checked so is allowed.
9. It would be really nice if you can play without the so-called 'mully tactics' (destroy stonemasons, big starvation after peacetime, cut wood only near peacetime etc.) Remember how the people from Easter Island came to an end and you get my point It should represent a real game. But still, if you like to play like this I'll have no problems with it

The winner will be decided on april 4th. Let's hope it can be beaten, good luck!

First try i got 109. not happy with that, so i tried again.
second try i got 119
maybe 3rd time i can get 120 but for now i'll wait for someone to beat me

Nice Bullet, are you sure its not performed on .5 speed again? And next time please take screen before or on 60 mins. I do think someone can make 120 without too much abuse of the market, but not much more probably. But who knows...

I used .5 speed in my first attempt cause it was like midnight so pretty slow reaction time. Second try was just on 1x speed.
Sorry for the 1s late screenshot, but you can see no serf that just walked out of the castle in the last second.
I can give you the replay if you dont believe me. But i wont post that here obviously.

Yea Bullet, send me that replay in PM or on TS so I can check speed etc. I won't share it here ofcourse.

Pretty sure more people are trying this. Anyone came close yet, or is it too hard?

I tried it once on 1,5 speed at the very first day of the challenge.
Didn't come very close, probably due to the higher speed I played on.

I'd love to give it another go, but haven't got much time this week.

Ok Bullet, I've watched that replay to found out it was some modded version for SP so unable to check speed etc. I will count it as valid but please use the normal MP version for the next try

Well imagine something like 60 pikes and 60 xbow. That sounds pretty scary imo.

Anyway, BitD is a broken map anyway. Not played much at a competitive level.
