Alright so its the final day of the challenge and it looks like i'm gonna declare myself the winner with 127 bows as a result. For those interested I will have the replay available (is there any way to upload it to forum)? I think overall this was a succes, some people didnt like it at all but at least 20+ people tried and some did it alooot of times (more than 10). Not everybody posted their results so the leaderboard is rather small. I should've made it ran for only 2 weeks instead of a month because people lost interest and tried too often so it ended up being boring. For those who participated I got a few questions I'd love for you to answer, for those who did not let me know what you dont like about it.

What was appealing to the challenge for you? http://strawpoll.me/7172177
Would you also have participated if there is no cash prize? http://strawpoll.me/7172184
If I made a new challenge, would you participate in it? http://strawpoll.me/7172193
If you answered the previous question with yes, what units would you like to make? http://strawpoll.me/7172284
What do you think the maximum possible outcome to this bow challenge was? http://strawpoll.me/7172217

Thanks for answering the questions for those of you that do, and with the answers i'll see what I do

I got an extra idea for the potential new challenge!

What if you only set the selected map as a requirment for the potential new challenge? So people may choose their own locations. Cuz 1loc becommes boring after a while!

Or an other idea could be is to add special requirments, such as: no citizens lost at peacetime or have a maximum of 18 builders (for enhancing peoples builder micro) for example.

Possibilities for challenges are limitless. I think this brings an interesting dynamic to the game. Memorable challenges that I can remember are knights on BitD loc 8 and swords on TFF loc 7. To also build on Siem's ideas, there could be challenges that limit what you are permitted to do. For example, maximum amount of knights trained with making no more than 1 farm.
