Hey yeah I use an apple, I know it's really a pain to always have to convert stuff for apples, but does any of this stuff work with Macs?

I don't have any deeper experience in using Macs, but there is a port of Knights and Merchants for the operating system. To my knowledge no demo of this version was ever released so you'll have to hunt the full version in case you want to play (try eBay).
Also, if you happen to be using one of the newer Intel x86 Macs, I doubt it will work.

Sorry I wasn't too clear about what I was asking, no it works, on macs, and brand new computers, I was asking about the all the stuff you are in charge of making for Knight and Merchants. Mac play ported it to macs. It works fantastic on macs. But again that's not what I was asking.

Do you mean stuff like tools, patches, service releases, etc.?
Well, all of my tools can be compiled on macs very easily. (Lazarus is available for macs) So if you're really interested, then let me know. The only issue is that I don't own a mac, so someone else would need to compile it for me. (I don't mind showing my source code, but the process is quite complicated) Also, a Linux edition would be even easier. (Lazarus works on Linux, and I have it)
The biggest issue would be stuff like fonts not working (this is a headache when porting to other operating systems) and some stuff relies on windows (e.g. opening help file, and some stuff is hard coded as forward slashes, but Linux uses back slashes) Also, I would need to do 3 builds for each program for each version, quite difficult and annoying.
So, if you really want a mac edition, then I could.

Epic, put it at the bottom of your things to do Lewin, fonts are not a trouble at all, because macs can use Mircosoft Word. Files are not really much of a trouble, most of them are compatible, and they can be converted anyways.

If it's at the bottom of the list, then it won't get done. I don't really think it's important. Fonts are an issue. Because the default Mac font might be slightly larger than the default Windows one, and therefore some text wouldn't fit in the window. But your right, it is a small issue. When I compiled a project on Linux the fonts were hugely different, and most of the text didn't fit. Macs might be a bit better. Just because MS word runs doesn't mean the fonts are the same.
I think the files are computable, but I also think the file system is a bit different. Do you use forward or backward slashes when browsing folders? (/ or \) Note: I don't mean when browsing the internet, as it is always forward slash. (/) e.g. on windows we would say C:\Program Files\KaM\, what would the equivalent for a Mac be? (I know you don't use C:)
Would you mind doing a test compile? If you do, then send me a PM with your Email address and I'll send you the instructions. Then you can compile and test it to see how well it works, and if it's fine then I we can do regular Mac releases. (don't worry, you don't need a lot of knowledge to compile)
