Re: Introduction topic
Well,
I am mostly known as "Remer", even my RL-Friends like to call me that way , I live in Germany, speak English and German,
and I play Knights And Merchants since I'm eight years old! So you might guess my age. ^^
Anyway, I do like spending most of the time on the computer. Playing games, lisitening to music and so on.
Nothing much I can tell about myself, Just wanted to say Hi!
If you want to contact me, feel free to do so.
Sincerly,
Remer

Re: Introduction topic
Stumbled across KaM today after totally forgetting about it for years. Rooted out my old "Shattered Kingdom" CD (prob last used about 1999/2000) and tried installing it on my current laptop. Long story short, ended up picking up the "Peasants Rebellion" on GoG after finding a link on the "KaM Remake" website (looks like an awesome project btw!).
Growing up I totally loved this game, I finished the shattered kingdom more times that I can remember. When I found out about the rebellion version, I played that to death too (which admittedly I always had something against because of the new units, imo they didnt need to be there but i loved the new maps) .
KaM is up there with Populous the beginning for me as one of the best RTS games ive sunken hours (and ultimately years) of my life into.
Anyway game related rant over.
Bit about me;

Ive never played online so looking forward to the opportunity to do so!
Btw, if there is anything I need to do to allow me to be able to play online or if there are any patches or updates I should get then please let me know
(Bought the GOG version today and if i recall correctly it said something about it being V 2.0.0.6. I might be wrong tho!)

Re: Introduction topic
If you want to play online you should get the KaM Remake. Even for singleplayer it has a lot of improvements.

Re: Introduction topic
I'm a long time KaM fan.
And I was super happy to find this community.
I'm not much for competetive play, but I do like reading about KaM strategies.
So I'll be lurking on this forum from time to time.
I do know of 1 trick to make a certain mission easier, not sure if people know it.
And I don't know if it works with the remake.
I'll test it and post it if it works in the remake.
I hope noone knows it
