hey guys in the original K & M when scrolling to the battlefield just by going to the end of the screen depending where you are originally based the screen seems to just flash from one side to the other, is there any option for smooth scrolling or something ? i know the game is old but on the demo where you can click and drag, that is not available in the full version.
thanks for any help guys

Hi Donny_Lad,
This is a bug with TSK (The Shattered Kingdom) if you are using anything newer than windows 98.
Some ways to get around it:
- Scroll by clicking on the mini map and dragging.
- Scroll with the arrow keys on the keyboard (tap them)
- Just lightly touch your mouse to the edge of the screen and pull it back, so you don't go too far.
- Upgrade to The Peasants Rebellion. This bug is completely fixed in TPR.
I think it is because when TSK was released, no computer would scroll that fast. (they weren't powerful enough) So no one noticed it until computers and graphics cards became faster. You can see this with some old dos games, everything moves really fast because they didn't limit FPS.
I hope this is helpful to you, let me know if you want to know anything else.
Lewin.

No its not a computer problem , is an OS problem! Because TSK works fine on Windows xp SP1 but on SP2, and 3...
Anyway I have SP3 installed on my laptop and I would like to know if there is another wayto solve this problem
