Game speed

Hi, I downloaded the new Steam version of KaM. When I lunch a game from Steam it gives me an two options - normal version and HD Version. I played a while in HD Version but it has so many buggs I decided to go back to KaM Remake BUT! Steam HD Version is FASTER, I mean a bit. That makes it more comfortable to watch, the animations are smoother and I must say I really liked that. Maybe someone else have similar feelings abut this?
Re: Game speed
As far as I know all KaM animations are made at 10fps. Maybe HD version changed that?

Re: Game speed
Yeah, the HD version seems to have increased it to always be running at 2x or 3x speed. They didn't change the animations, just sped the whole game up.
Re: Game speed
Lewin, do you remember me talking about the Linux TSK demo being slightly smoother? I bet that's what they did to it as well.
Now, Topware or whoever is in charge of the game code right now, left me wondering; do they try to tell us that x2 speed is the one everybody should play? xD

Re: Game speed
well, I disagree. Animations seems to be smoother, production goes a bit faster... but feeding an army is a true horror - fork pushing fest. I'm not saying thats good or bad to keep things like it was in the original game but I wish I have a more control on those hungry beasts

Just when you think you know something, you have to look at it in another way, even though it may seem silly or wrong. You must try! - John Keating, "Dead Poets Society"
