Couldn't find any resolution change setting anywhere. Sound is fine, video playback is fine, but i think campaign intro is missing.

LoL well the screenshots look strange for me. It looks like the Gamegraphics are still the same only the publisher "intro" was edited and the winning/loosing Movies? Thanks for the screens.

I didnt launch TPR for ages but I'm pretty sure it didnt have same main menu as the Remake... Or am I wrong in an epic way?

No. TPR had a grey mainmenu. The Remake has the mainmenu of TSK. (This http://i.imgur.com/Q7VpnpF.jpg) and in steam it says only "Knights and Merchants" so they have chosen a random mainmenu i guess.

Thanks for posting the screenshots and other information here :) It's very interesting, looks like they recompiled TSK. The original TSK menu had a multiplayer button, and the version is now "1.32Dev". It doesn't really look HD to me, it's still 4:3 not 16:9 and the resolution doesn't seem to be much higher than TPR.

I wonder why they recompiled TSK not TPR?

They don't seem to look like they know what they are doing, really. Not fixing problems with resolution etc. for Steam release seemed to confirm that too. "HD" release without any features of such... did they at least make any changes to the graphics or something? (I guess not...)

So what is this "HD" refers to, just an intro logo?

It refers to the game being HD. Just like the Multiplayer button referred to the game having functioning multiplayer. xD

Probably the normal "how to make money"-Patch from some games on Steam :P So players that find the game on steam now will buy it because they think it´s a full HD Remake I guess?! :P

I have searched for some more Information and it looks like:

Only TSK Features like only TSK soundtracks?
No problem on Windows 7 and Windows 8 with the whole game including the Intro movies? ("Yeah, some sort of HD version that works on Windows 7 where the previous Steam version wouldn't.")
Many stuff is missing?

Just some random quotes from Players who downloaded that HD Version....

KaM HD kind of runs on HD (1920x1200 in my case), but the graphics are all blurred (including fonts).

There's no settings to choose the resolution.

Every time you launch the game it opens a browser window with another game advertisement.
