Wow! Looks like you've done a lot of work! Keep the SVN up to date, and I may find time to help you over this weekend.

As far as I know Litude has issues with hosting large files too, so asking him is no good. However, I have ~30 GBs free on my server. Only downside is that the link is quite slow. (~50 KB/s)
But still, that's ok. Here is a mirrored link for you:
http://lewin.namsys.com.au/kam/mirror/downloads/Remake_video_2009_02_09.rar

I hope this helps, let me know if there is anything else you want mirrored.

Keep up the great work, I'll try to help you but as I said before I'm very busy with college this year. Let me know if there is anything specific you need help with. (like the LIB files, but that's all working ok, right?)
Lewin.

Well I had enough space to mirror it, so you can get it from here as well. I think you get higher speeds than 50kb/s from here.

While debuging house resources used for building I've added task info to unit page. Now when unit is clicked you can see what is he doing at the moment (e.g. delivering, building house, etc..). Something usefull beside unit description and condition

Does anyone knows what happened to Lookout tower that was seen in alpha screens, did anyone repainted building progress for it? I'd like to test it in KaM Remake, just for fun.

Very good! I have also such an idea, like "unit brings STONE to WAREHOUSE". Great! Is there a screen to show the menu design?

Which usefull function do it have?

So far it's only a line of text showing current task. Later on it can be expanded to show more info. It's just something useful in debug for now.

It's easy to see what unit is carrying.

More interesting is to know where it is going. As you might saw on latest screen there are colored lines to show that. Of course thats a debug only representation. Still if there were a way to use something similar for player .... cos that's makes perfectly clear what unit is doing atm. Any ideas how to wrap it? Cos colored lines don't match KaM world very well.

As I said - just for fun. I already tried building walls (which are left in data files). They look quite wrong cos of terrain height and with existing graphics you can't have two walls to look solid/merged next to one another either. So if I ever make walls for KaM Remake they will need new graphic.

What also would be usefull is scrolling in mission briefing. The number of lines in TPR are not enough. ....for future feature whishes. :)

I see the shadows of houses. Why you use the old shadow-technology and not the real looking shadows of terrain/map editor?

What do you mean by old and new technology? KaM Remake and KaM Editor use the same tech.

@JBSnorro: Whats new with TKE, maybe you can post in TKE thread.

you use a better technology to view shadows. but buildings have a terrible shadow look.

What do you mean by that? That buildings don't get a shadow of the terrain over them if they're in a really deep valley?
Calculating that shadow would be pretty much impossible if the building is not completely in the shadow, since the 3D model is not available..

TheKnight, show us some screens, we've lost you here.....

@Harold: That would be useless anyway. Where would we find such tall cliff in KaM anyway ) KaM shadows good enough so far.
