Yep, I'm working on Remake once again.
So far been adding fences display, perfecting road/field building and starting to approach housebuilding.
Working on the thing solo again.

I'm at the same place. I found a job, my study resumed, my other study still goes on. I simply have no time for coding

KaM Remake progressed another few tiny steps towards first milestone (which is functional village part).
Many things have been done in past 1,5 weeks, still the pic looks almost the same despite many internal improvements
The best news is that GFX data got optimized and now Remake uses only ~60mb of RAM and loading times on older GPUs decreased dramatically (was upto 18secs, now 4secs).

Fresh screen showing curent status can be seen here: http://krom.reveur.de/index.php?t=kam_remake

Great work, the screenshot looks good.

I know, I still haven't got around to helping you. I'm stuck on the editor, goals are complicated. I think I might cut this release short, and leave some of the more complex features until the next release.
If so then I'll be able to start later this week.

Keep up the great work!
Lewin.

@TheKnight: Yes, thats my current goal - make a "SimCity" working. Think of it as a building tutorial :D
Serfs are serving goods, workers build roads and houses(yet unimplented), citizens harvest and reprocess goods.

@Lewin: That would be great, I will need to setup SVN again though, but thats doable. We shall have a talk over ICQ later this week.

I've switched from ingame logic programming to user interface coding. So far so good, I'm very happy about how smooth it goes :)
Had to develop own TControls TButtons and etc.. All rendered in OpenGL (meaning fast and smooth). With good luck tomorrow I hopefully get rid of Windows controls in KaM Remake frame.

Specially for Nick, who helped me with KaM screens:
