Hey Guys!
Another major update!
http://lewin.namsys.com.au/kam/downloads/LIBDecoder-0.8.zip
Changes: (in order of how major they are)
- Disabled strings (FF byte pars) are now shown as blank strings, and when saving, blank strings are saved as disabled strings.
- Added "Add New String" and "Remove Last String" buttons to the menu.
- Added search feature
- Fixed a bug that meant the index for the last string in the file wouldn't save properly, resulting in a problem if you change it.
- Added buttons along the top for easily placing Polish characters. If I have missed any or there are characters for other languages you'd like me to include, please let me know!
- Incorrect values set by The Barbarian/The Knight's editor are now automatically removed.
- Added an icon to the EXE
- The form now resizes much nicer, and should work ok on smaller resolutions.
- Lots of other little fixes/changes that I can't think of right now...
I'd highly recommend upgrading!
Currently the only things left on my todo list for this project are:
- Add support for Unicode (Russian) - I don't know how to do this
- Add undo/redo - Can't be bothered, it would be too much work
- Write help file - I might get around to this, if I can think of something worth putting in it.
- Update decoding documentation (I have discovered some new stuff) - I will be doing this next.
If you have another suggestion or find a bug then I'd love to know about it!
This means that once I've done the doco, I'll go back to making the mission editor. It's about time too, I have a todo list for it a mile long! The LIB Decoder took a lot of time but I think it was worth it, even just to make Litude happy.
So, please let me know what you think!
Lewin.
