Please add a little bit more explanation.

What do you do?
What happens?
What appears and what disappears?
How often?
When is it more likely and less likely to happen?

And how much time do you spend in MapED? Cause I was doing Revenge in the Gardens V1.1 and this happened after 4 hours of work in MapED. But maybe it's not much important bug. (I'm really big perfectionist in these things)

Lewin pls you need to fix it you have ruined the campaign by making AI don't build stables this can break the campaign so they don't make cavalery.

Edit also if you are in team with AI he can't help you while someone is attacking you because you have disabled making defence positions for human player.

Standalone AI should not be overestimated.
- It is not meant to be a live player replacement. We have MP for that.
- It should not be expected to be challenging. We have scripts and pre-built AI towns for that.
- It cannot is not made to be smart. It can make dumb mistakes a lot.
- It cannot be predictable. It can change between sessions on the same map a lot.
- It's not really needed. All the city building is covered by the FOW, it makes no difference to player when he discovers AI base, was it built by AI or by mapmaker.

What is KaM Remake standalone AI?
- unpredictable dummy, that may or may not built something that looks like a town with or without defenses
- newbie player companion on MP maps, that fills the slots
- our experiment at programming fair AI
- something that may or may not improve in close or distant future

Said that, if you want to have stables in AI town - you better place them manually. Don't make your campaign to be dependent on AI, because AI can not guarantee anything. It is quite possible, that 1 in 50 players will meet the AI that will get stuck at building first Quarry.

I guess anyway that he is talking about the original campaigns and the stables problem for buliding ai cities there...

Point is - AI can not be trusted with such things, that's all. If AI does not build stables under some random circumstance - that is the way it is.

That's correct my friend, but you just wrote "you better place them manually" so this lookes like you were talking about fanmade campaigns OR that everyone should change the code in a certain mission in the campaigns, just because some missions don't work, like they should (problems with stables).

Then (maybe he means) Lewin or Krom should be placing them manually. Or maybe you should, Pawel, as the Remake uses "Pawel's" campaign as TSK/TPR. Regardless, Krom has presented a very helpful and thorough post, and his point remains precise and correct all the same.

The standalone AI will attempt to make stables if there is a demand for horses. If you give the AI mounted defence positions they will make a stables. However, "auto defence" does not place mounted defence positions because I found the AI makes less soldiers overall if they have a stables.

There are not many cases where the standalone AI is used in the original campaigns, and none of them are very important (as Krom said you can't rely on the standalone AI)

Other AI Bug if u will disallow to make milita the AI will not make axes and can't make axe fighters... it should be a check if unit of higher level is using lower level equipment it should still make axes when milita is not avalible.
