Hi,

Accidentally I got very low fps (15, 11), but all my applications were closed.
When I start the game, I usually have 30, but some players 60.
I play on laptop.

Do you know how to improve the fps, please? I would like to add, my machine is not wooden one, I use some 3ds programs and they work very fine.
So, what could be the potential reason?

Thanks!

How to improve FPS?

+Set the resolution in game lower.
+Try to play in fullscreen mode, when you play in windowed mode
+Buying better Hardware (Cpu,Gpu) ;-)

However please explain what you exactly mean with "usually have 30" but "I got very low fps (15,11)". When do you have those low fps?
Is it happening after a few minutes, or is it when you play with more players, on bigger maps? Cause all these factors are important:

For example I know a few players that have in a 4vs4 multiplayer game like 50-60 fps at start of the game, but after 60 Minutes only like the half. That´s because there are more objects(Houses, armies) on the map, that your computer has to calculate.

Other suggestions if Pawel's don't resolve it:
- Firstly make sure your graphics drivers are installed (download them from the manufacturer's website), otherwise you will get very low FPS
- If you have an integrated GPU (e.g. Intel HD graphics) as well as a dedicated graphics card (Nvidia or AMD), make sure KaM Remake is running on the dedicated graphics card
- Don't zoom out, that will greatly reduce FPS

What OpenGL version is displayed at the top of the main menu?

I wooden go as far to say your laptop is wooden but honestly Laptops have always struggles to get decent fps even on games that are years old. Unless you have a gaming laptop then you are going to get a good frame rate however In my opinion desktop is the way forward :)
