People taking your name/tag

I guess I have many fans all over the world.... thats why a lot of people use my tag 'Zippo' even when Im playing with the same tag... How can that be? Even tough im playing in another game somebody can take the same tag and troll me?

Yep, that's one of the drawbacks of not having accounts in the Remake. Officially, accounts are declined, but from what Lewin and Krom have said, I'm pretty sure that accounts will still make the final cut if we can come up with a solution on how to implement them.

Accounts are not declined. We have them in plans. Problem is that accounts require a whole lot of work and we don't have enough time/dedication at the moment.

You don't even need to set accounts in this game.
I think it woud be a better idea to make it more difficlut to change your name or that it takes more time.
Maybe that you have to set your mp name when you are starting the remake and not when you open the mp part of the game.
Actually it looks like more of an account then but I think this would be less work to do and it would work.

Actualy I agree a bit with Killet I know an old strategy game where you have to set your username in the installation of the game and there is no possibility to change it later on (except gor deleting the game and reinstall it) That helps at least that much, that those trollers have zo reinstall their game just to switch from real name to trolling name.

Why? A clan should be serious thing. Players are trolling often with clan tags and it´s not happeneing very often that someone gets out of a clan. No need to change it once per week.
BTW, my idea is only for a time until a good account system will be implemented, just not to force the remake team, to implement it faster "because we need it " and "because everyone is using my nickname " So my idea was about implementing a namesystem at the installation, that should be as easy as possible , sth like changeable first letters(Because of clan tag or sth) is already too much work, in my opnion.

People change clans all the time. Maybe your skill improves, resulting in a membership offer from a stronger clan. Or maybe your current clan starts doing annoying things and you don't want to be part of that nonsense. Of course, the list is not limited to these, but there are many reasons why you would want to change your clan(tag).

Ah forgot to answer on that thing. Entering the name when you simply start the Remake? Not sure, but my computer needs around 2 seconds to start the Remake, not really hard to change the name fast and easily

Exactly. Also, there are people who don't use multiplayer, so having them select a multiplayer name seems clunky.

There should be auto rename if someone tries to change to nick that already exists example zippo and if someone tries to change name to zippo it should auto rename to zippo (2).
Or something like unique KAMR id generated on each KAMR instalation?
