I'm having a little trouble installing TPR. The game works fine, but I don't think the registry's been entered right, because it won't let me install Service Release 2, which I need for a decent translation.

Can anyone tell me how to enter the information into the registry manually?

Here's the info in "INSTALL.txt" that I think should be in there...

The entries are not actually needed (which is why my ripped release of the game works, without installing)
But if you want them there anyway, go to Start -> Run, type: "regedit" (without quotes) and click ok. Navigate to keys and make the value there

btw, what is I-Magic?


slightly less manually would be to make that part of the log in to a .reg file and execute it

I got the patch and translation to install, but when I get into the game, none of the text is there, just blank buttons.

Can anyone help?

That's a funny bug that I once had after patching, I reinstalled and repatched and that time it worked

I-Magic certainly did not make K&M..
Joymania Entertainment (Peter Ohlamm, Adam Sprys) made it, and ZuXXeZ has something to do with it as well, right?
Now where does I-Magic come in? The demo? The US release?

I-Magic's on the box of my version... Beats me.



I've tried and retried, but the bug remains. I seem to recall it happening on my friend's computer as well. Can anyone help me out? I don't wanna be stuck with a lame translation...

Did you try that newest patch, Language pack 4?

I believe so, yes. I tried a whole bunch of them.

Danjb, do you have a version of The Peasants Rebellion that says I-Magic on the box?? I know that I-Magic published The Shattered Kingdom in the US, but to my knowledge they had nothing to do with TPR. Not to mention they are running some flash game arcade or something nowadays...

No, thinking about it the I-Magic logo is only on TSK. Weird that the registry entries come under I-Magic then... Unless I went wrong somewhere and that's not actually the TPR install log.
