Unarmed scout

I thought these give the idea of putting a unarmed scout at the start of the maps to reveal it

The mapmaker can decide if he puts a scout on the map or not. It is already possible

No it isn't possible currently, ToRuKMactO was actually talking about an unarmed scout, which couldn't attack anybody but would solely serve the purpose of revealing the map.

Just use !CLEAR_UP (map revealers). It is essentially the same thing. Plus, an unarmed scout could walk into enemy towns, and would severely ruin fighting for post peacetime.

first of all my apologies to ToRuKMactO, i read over the unarmed part. Besides there is no need to apologize for a thing like this (although veyr polite, keep this up . veyr contradiction i know ^^)
for the restr i agree with ben, at peacetime you should have enough troops to at least have a scouting party (even if it is one militia).
