Does K&M TSK ENG v.1.32 Internet IP multiplayer work without some third party assistance or not. Just thought I'd ask before I spend hours reinventing a broken wheel. All attempts I have made were unsucessful thus far. Is there a specific port to be opened on the router? I have not been able to play on a LAN using IP, I only have gotten the IPX/SPX protocal to work. I want to be able to play with 2 people on my network and one from the internet. Is this possible? Or am I wasting my time? Any clues to get this to work would be apreciated.
I have been playing KaM since it came out and would really like to play against more that 1 person at a time.

You probably have the slow Internet and a more than 1 person cannot hold your server.
I without the problem am playing with 2 persons through LAN

As a matter of fact I have a very fast conection (I run a Freelancer Server on this connection and have never had a compaint about lag) and I don't think you all know what you are talking about...so I assume the answer to my question is a NO then. What a shame...a game to claim its multiplayer but doesn't really work in multiplayer...why don't they make a patch for that (they had to patch so many other things).

Hi,
If you were going to open the ports on your router then you would have to do that on both ends of the connection. (all player would have to)
I have tried it with just the server with open ports and it doesn't work, as the server cannot send packets back to the clients.
Hamachi is a very good program, I would recommend you try it:
https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/vpn.asp?lang=en
Join either of theses two networks:
kamtsk password: kamtsk
kamtpr password kam
So far I have never had anyone else online who wanted to play, but the more people who use it the better.
Lewin.

Thanks. When I get some time I'll try it. Thanks for posting "The Gauntlet " mod, I hope people like it. Right now I'm working on a 3 player multiplayer map and .dat file. Going to test it tonight to see what need fixed. If it looks ok I'll send it to you.

I hope it works, so I can compare it with mine, which doesn't.

I still have to test some things, though...
