is there anything we can do to help? like not refreshing the forum every 5 mins some of us do?
No there's really not much any of us can do, unless you know who the attacker is in which case you can tell them to stop
Refreshing the forum won't make much of a difference, and as I said the server has been coping fairly well. So don't feel like you should change your usage of the site or anything

Maybe you should consider asking your hosting company to change your IP ? It would mean downtime due to DNS change but maybe it's worth it (is the attack direct at your IP or specific hostname ?) ?

The attack is against knightsandmerchants.net, so unfortunately changing IP won't help.

And not to mention that KaMTS.eu would lose their NPL.
