THE TOURNAMENT HAS FINISHED
WE WILL START THE TOURNAMENT WITH 16 TEAMS, 20 TEAMS OR 24 TEAMS. WHEN WE WILL HAVE 17-19 TEAMS, WE WILL SET THESE LAST 1-3 TEAMS AS "REPLACEMENT-TEAMS" (THEY WILL PLAY WHEN ONE OTHER TEAM CANNOT PLAY)


Welcome to the 1st International Battle Tournament on the KaM Remake.

We got many positive answers from different people, so I think it´s worth to start that battle tournament right now, in the after-holidays time.

Rules:
+You can register with your teammember or alone in the current topic.
+You will play 2vs2 everytime, it is not possible to play 1vs1 (when the teammembers have no time for example)
+You will play in a "best of 3 games" system: After the tournament starts, we will post the maps you will play on. The team, that wins first 2 "matches" on that map will win the current stage.
+You will have maximum 4/5 days to play one game.
+You will play in a winner/loser bracket system. That means, we have no groups like in the last building tournament(with groups): How it won´t be!
+You will play all games ONLY with 1,0x Speed
+The maps will be chosen with the Dota BAN System

SPECIAL RULE FOR THE BIG FINAL + THE FIGHT FOR THE 3rd PLACE :

Instead of baning maps unless you will have 3 final maps, you will ban maps until you will have 5 final maps left!

It will be changed from a "Who wins 2 first" to a "Who wins 3 first"!

So you will play at least 3 games and maximum 5 games!


Why that change? We think that the finals need players, that can play on nearly all battle maps of the Remake. So a team won´t be able to play only on 2 maps in the whole tournament

NOTE: THIS RULECHANGE IS ONLY FOR THE BIG FINAL + THE FIGHT FOR THE 3rd PLACE

3.)Write in "that topic" or write me a "PersonalMessage" here on the forum or on TeamSpeak such a registrationsreguest:

Name and Country of Player 1: "Player1[Germany]"
Name and Country of Player 2: "Player2[Poland]"
Teamname: "Community of noobs"

!Attention! When you can´t find a teammember shortly before the 15th September don´t worry. You can sign in here also without a team, so we will try to find a team for you in the last days.

*Battle in the Ruined City (1+3 VS 2+4)
*Cross (Random Locations)
*Snow Cross (Random Locations)
*Enter the Heat (1+2 VS 5+6 /// 2+3 VS 6+7)
*Shoulder to Shoulder (1+2 VS 4+5)
*Tundra (1+3 VS 2+4)
*Gorges(Top VS Bottom, but Location 1 and 4 must be taken)

Note: This list isn´t the finaly one! We can easily add or delete maps also while the tournament is running!
!Look at the conditions in the (). One team starts to take a location, the other team continues. Then the first team takes another one and finally the 2. Team also


The DOTA Ban System
The teams will meet together in a lobby. One team will start to ban a map. THe other team continues. It will go over and over again, until only 2 maps will be "not-banned".
You will play on that 2 maps. When both team will win one game, you have to play a 3rd game at the Last Banned map. So actualy you have to get the last 3 maps in your head.
*This system will work only in the first rounds, in the semi-/finals it will be choosen propably randomly or with an other system*

!I was happy with the first round, but at the last deadline day of the first round I have wrote to nearly all left teams a message and some of these teams answered my question,if they already contacted the enemy: "Oh, the first round is already online" /"Oh I have to contact them" or "Where can I see against who I will fight against"
So please try to contact your team fast, as you read this post. When you won´t manage it exactly until the 28.09.13 there is not a huge problem, we can do maybe sth, but don´t wait for it, it can finish up positivly for the other team XD

Also I want to give your that TeamSpeak Adress, for better "waiting for the enemy" or communication this could help you: KaMTS.eu (TS 3).

For Bo_Co + Sado and also Pumabear+Supermanxd we will be a little bit more tolerant, when they shouldn´t be able to find a gametime up to the 27.09, but only because they have no enemy up to here, so it´s not their fault!
However I think we will find a way to have the 1st round completed today finally for 100%!

In the first stages the map will be choosen randomly. In the semi-final and final it will be picked with the ban/pick system

You can add the maps such as: Ambushed (but need fogwar), Battle of the Great Generals, Spring of Events, and The King Says, The Pirates - these two maps have different troops and will be interesting. Cross and Snow Cross are very similar, so you may need one of these maps? and what do you think about map: Defence of the King? (Link: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1661 )

About your suggestion. I have talked with sado long time about the maps and we decided not to take Ambushed(too many troops and not good placement for 2vs2). We don´t want Spring of events, because its for 8 players so we would have to decide which troops you should take so its nearly like Shoulder to Shoulder, which has less space so it´s perfect for 2vs2. Pirates we didnt include out of the reason, that many many players say its very campy and nearly every time the camper team wins the game.

We can think about including The King Says and Battle of the Great Generals. I only didnt take them because The King Says isn´t a very popular and likely played map and I don´t like Great Generals personaly, because the bottom locations are far away from the north one and the balance isn´t that great(what I could see in like 5 games on that map).

Wolo, why we need fogwar on ambushed? Agree with BoGG, SoE, TKS. Cross and snow cross is different maps. Different units, different positions (IMO, on Cross troops are smooth, on snow cross are diagonally).

Ok. So the first player wrote me a message, that he is searching a Teammember.
You can write a pm to him when you search also a Teammember. When the players without team won´t have a teammeber up to the 15th September, We will make the teams with the "alone"-players

Thats not that easy, I have holidays like until start of october(had to real school sine april) haha but thats only one time in a schoollife.
However with a small job, this time is going faster and faster to the end
