I look at the map and I don't see no knights nor darkness
Otherwise looks like a nice map )

On this map, each has its dark knight. In this picture is not visible

now you mentioned it actually is But you could use some more of the darker ground and maybe a overdose of coal ? so the map would look dark~ or create some ravines ?

I tried to create a ravine ... but the map does not look very natural ... I'll try it more darker.... or rename the Knights of Light.
