I don't see this as a problem for singleplayer. Achievements are meant to give something for a player to strive for. If he cheats to do it, so what? That makes him happy. I, personally, would enjoy the challenge of collecting achievements, as I do in many other games.
thx Ben that is what i meant, but sometimes i can't get out of my words in English :?

shall i start making more achievements?

@Bence: Please point which one is the best here? The one with more units killed or the one with more houses destroyed? Or maybe the first one? Or maybe the last one? ;-)

@Skypper: You can make a lot of achievements, but before we sort out how to make them work that would be a wastebin work, sorry

Well, "best" should be relative, related to the achievement, for example if there was an achievement "Destroy 10000 houses", then the second would count for it, and for the achievement "Kill 100000 units" the 3rd would. Maybe it's too much of work, so we'll have to think of another way to solve these problems.

Krom means they do not know if they are able to implement achievements in the game yet.

@Bence: Best can't be relative. Since there are so many achievements (I would say a game like KaM needs at least 100) it is next to impossible to pick the single best run from many and make player accept that programmatical choice.

@Skypper: I mean that without achievements thoroughly thought through any work on planning exact achievements can be useless if the achievements don't get implemented at all.

i don't really see the problem
if someone want to post a picture of his achievements and it is cheated so what?
it is for your one fun.

@Skypper: I just wanted to make sure that you understand that spending your time on inventing achievements does not means this will get implemented in the game. And that there are some problems with the way how achievements system works. I'm a big fan of achievements, but the problems are not solved yet. Without solution - achievements won't get implemented.

i think achievements are made for your one fun, and if someone want to cheat so what?
let him be, it is to give you a goal to go for.

if you can see that you have killed 10.000 units that is great :D
and if someone that have cheated want to think he did, it is also OK...

There's a difference between cheat (deliberate action) and flaw in system that makes everyone a cheater against their will.

KaM Remake is an unofficial mod. We can't interact with Steam API to file achievements.
