Today I opened the tutorial in the original german TPR...wow what a feeling (H) ...I just was courious on something but i found a total different and an interesting thing. Please check the follow pictures and will see. I think you also know this, seems a bit cheaper than the 'wine trick'. Why I didn't know about this function? :S maybe because played long-long time ago....
I think to you though on this solution also, why not implemented it?

Funny, I don't remember this :)
However, I do remember in original TPR, you could place town halls and vehicle workshops directly on top of trees. It was the best way to remove trees :p

Nope, Towers were the best.
Fast to dig, and easy to place in a wood. :P

Yes I've noticed it too but didn't bother mentioning it, since changing it would just make it inconsistent.
And Sado is right. :P
