Main chat in the lobby

has there been any thoughts about having a main chat room in the Multiplayer lobby instead of only in the servers?
So you can look for matches, friends, ...

Very useful, but it is unfortunate that these shoutboxes are often abused. Ever see Voobly's shoutbox? The methods people use to get attention there are worse than those on facebook!

I'm not sure about a chat there...like Ben already said it can easily be abused. So that would require moderating, which probably requires accounts. Back to Krom's reasons why it isn't implemented yet.

You are correct... It could get messy, like flooding polish / russian language (no offense); could trust on the goodness of the users but yeah will be a bit hard

Seriously though, KaM has a great community, but there are still trolls/selfish people. It will, without doubt, be abused.
