it would give a better indication of the amount of people that like it, thats for sure. Although you could also base it on a certain amount of votes for the idea.

Great idea! Already missed some "voting system" for several stuff here. But I wonder, how does it work? Like are votes recorded some how? Can you change them when a better idea comes in place? Can everybody spam ideas?

And downvotes would also be nice, but this is already a good start!

There are no downvotes, I'm not sure why, but UserVoice does not support that.

You can redistribute your votes or remove them at all, just slick on a votes you have casted and pick a new number from 0 to 3.

Here is an idea, how about making this topic a sticky topic so it will not be lost in the depths of the forum?

My initial idea was to run this experiment for a week and then see how it goes. If for example people start flaming or cheating votes or something obscure floats up (e.g. adding light-sabers) then it will be abandoned for good.

I cn imagine that, we'll have to see how it goes then. I will wait for some good ideas to give my last votes for

*edit* i see that whenever i log in, and then go to an idea i am logged out again. I really feel like i am doing something wrong here

@Dicso: Honestly I have no idea. UserVoice has been around for several years now, I would thought they have a pretty stable webservice by now ..
