Might be an idea for a new building?
Cow farm's work the same way as pigfarms and horsebreeding.
it delivers cowmeat to the butcher that turns it into beef.
maby some more idea's?
seems to fit in the game?

You can also get milk from the cow every time it grows.

Milk would be a great idea to add!

Well, do you want to feed your citizens with raw beef? gg
I think you can already get enough types of food, no need for it imo.

I disagree, when you play multiplayer you often have enough food for the whole city, buildings like this what makes two type of food can solve this problem. Also i though about getting to much products. I think you can solve this by make cowmeat and sausage one product and call it meat and wine and milk and call it drinks.

A building that produces 2 kinds of food at once would be overused... And if it even produces leather (logically it does), then only this would be massed. This would make wine and bread disappear. Before you propose an idea, make sure it doesn't have radical negative effects. And basically, somebody should draw sprites for the building, cows, its skin, milk, meat and the beef produced by the butcher. Also people consuming food would need new sprites I think. And another question: if your inn is full (of food), why do you need 2 more kinds of food, if the inn only has place for 6 people at once? Oh btw, inns should be reworked there to be place for the new food, without making it need more tiles to build. Good luck with all of these.

Bence speaks with wisdom and intelligence: There is no need for adding more food; especially one that would require new sprites and buildings! That would take more work than you realize.
There are already four types of food. They all serve the same purpose: They feed your people. They all slightly vary in some way to make the, have certain benefits and perks. Think of wine right now: it's barely used in competitive play. Adding more food would just make a useless feature, or ruin one that is already in place.

Perhaps if KaM was more of an agriculture simulator we would have 12-16 kinds of food, but KaM is an RTS built around indirect town management and army tactics. No need to overcomplicate food area.

Yes Krom and No.

I don't agree. Bacause we have snow area in kam (Winter) and stupid situations: we make wine and corn -__- . (in winter !!)

How do ?
DO: alternative food in winter, only pig, fish and... milk and meat (from cow). !?

Snow is purely aesthetical effect, it does not affect the game in any other way.

There's interesting game that boils around agriculture management, called Banished - see its devblog at: http://www.shiningrocksoftware.com/

Paker, by your logic, building greenhouses and growing vegetables is a viable option for food (in snowy areas). And if you say pigmeat is the alternative food in winter, and corn doesn't grow in winter (which is actually right, but KaM isn't real and there are no seasons), then how are you supposed to feed them? Heavy market abuse? Krom is right, and please think about it once again.

Banished definitly looks like a fun game. somekind of a newer version of KAM, thanks for that.
and about the cow farm.
I dont think you can over do the food. it just needs a right balance, I dont want it to replace any of the existing food types, just add one.
KAM tries to be accurate according to that era, so I thought meat and milk might add just a little more to the game. ofcourse its just a suggestion and I was hoping it would lead to more idea's and suggestions :)
